You made it here! Welcome to our blog!
We are both pretty new to this malarky but hopefully we can give you insight into what we have been doing every week whilst we are away.
Events of the Week:
As there hasn't been any events to report, here is a brief itinerary of our time away:
1st Oct-18th Oct: We'll be in Kuala Lumpur working with St. Mary's Anglican Cathedral Contemporary (SMACC for short!)
19th Oct-14th Nov: We move onto Auckland for the start of our cruise around New Zealand in our Campervan (yet to be named)
14th Nov-12th Dec: Fly over to Cairns to begin our trip down the East Coast of Australia down to Sydney
12th Dec-19th Dec: Catch a plane to Perth where we will watch England retain/win the Ashes for the 4th time in a row.
19th Dec: Fly back to Blighty to catch up with all you lot and enjoy Christmas with a tan!
Prayer Points:
To those who would not be familiar with such a statement, or request, we are asking for prayer because we want to be able to honour God throughout this trip, and this is only possible with the strength of our heavenly father (Philippians 4:13).
- Pray that we arrive safely and in the right place!
- Pray that we can ably support the staff at SMACC
- Pray that through our teaching, with he kids groups and homes we are visiting, that our talks will bring glory to God and be true to his word.
The Regulars
Quotes of the Week:
Again, as we haven't departed there are none to report, but JJ's 'I can't wait to see that spiky building in Australia' in a Skype conversation deserves a mention, referring to the iconic Sydney Opera House.
'I'm looking forward to studying Philippians 8' (there are only 4 chapter in the book)
